WELCOME TO VIETNAM
the land of exquisite charm
“My friends have always raved about how big and majestic Son Doong Cave is,
and I am excited to see it for myself! I wonder how big the UNESCO protected cave is?
Stretching over 5km and reaching heights of 200m, the main cavern is large enough to
contain an entire New York City block!
Crowned as the largest cave in the world, Son Doong Cave is located right
in the heart of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
I heard that there are other places to discover whilst we are in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
Other than the Pygmy Cave, we can also explore hiking trails and go kayaking!
But first, let me get settled at my accommodation, which is a local homestay.
I should learn how to greet the locals first! Linh, can you please teach me a few greeting phrases?”
“That was really useful! I think it would only be wise
if I also find out more about the greetings culture here in Vietnam.
Would you like to learn more too? Read on with me!”
When part of the Son Doong Cave ceiling collapsed,
it created a large sinkhole that is now known as the
“Watch Out for Dinosaurs” area. See if you can put the puzzle pieces
together to view a large spiral stalagmite in the WOFD area!
Arrange the pieces by dragging them into our 3 x 3 grid to form a picture.
Simply drag the individual pieces into the puzzle board below, placing them in position.
